Soul-O is the follow-up to Chasing Lyrics and I just had to read it as soon as I finished the first book. You have two best friends who've had a uniquely different relationship from most for over 13 years. They're best friends, they put each other ahead of anyone else. Even though Tanner is a total player. They're both fiercely protective of each other. Everyone else can see that they're deeply and profoundly in love, except for them. Finally, one morning after Tanner reads a song that Dylan ("Lyrics" as he calls her because she's a song writer) she wrote the night before, everything changes, when he asks and she admits, it's about him. For the first time they admit they've been in love since they first met. Life is good for them or so it seems, when Tanner, a model, is offered a 6 month modeling contract with the GAP to model their clothes all around the world. It's worth millions, but that's a long time for these 2 lovers to be separated, especially when you add into the mix Jennifer, the super model he has to work with the entire time (She's a total diva. Demanding, self-centered, selfish, hateful and spiteful) It gets even worse, after she sets her sights on the unavailable Tanner who can't stand her, no matter how beautiful she is or the fact men are falling at her feet. When she stirs up trouble for Tanner and Lyrics, it threatens to break them up and destroy their happily ever after. There are some twists and turns in this story that caught me off guard. If you're tired of the usual formulaic love triangle, then this is the book for you and Debbie was the author smart enough to write it. 5-stars!Product details

YOU NEED TO READ BOOK ONE BEFORE THIS BOOK YOU WILL BE REALLY LOST AND MISS OUT ON HOW AWESOME THIS COUPLE IS . Ok who else was freaking out at the end of book one (raises hand ) this was truly remarkable you normally don't see this topic in most books and I thought it was very unique and extremely heartbreaking this does happen and it's sometimes isn't reported . This takes off write were the first book left off and for that I was grateful I'v been running into stories that had a second book be months or even years later and I find sometimes irritating . I felt so bad for the couple their was yelling at my kindle moments but it was understandable why that character was acting that way but when they finely got their head out of the sandbox I was super happy this couple deserves a happy ending . There was giddy moments , sexy times that had me blushing , characters I loved and a character I hated . I can't wait to read more from this author .

Such an emotional, amazing book to conclude this series. It takes off exactly where Chasing Lyrics left off and it did not disappoint. It was as if you could feel Tanner’s inner most feelings and turmoil and then you could also feel Lyric’s love and adoration for him. This was the epitome of a true love story. No matter what life threw them—their love for one another helped get them through it.
They went through the jealousy of Jennifer which in turn led to her drugging Tanner, raping him, and having him beat up. Then dealing with the aftermath when photos of the attack were sent to the media as well as to Lyrics and his family and her threats of harm against Lyrics. The hardest part was how the whole ordeal changed Tanner from the type of person he was, emotionally, and most of all mentally. The only person who could save him was his Lyrics.
This was such an amazing book bringing awareness to the fact that men indeed get raped by women and the toll it can take on their mind, emotions, and well- being.
Did Lyrics and Tanner make it?
Did the wedding happen?
Did they live happily ever after?

I recieved An arc for my honest opinion!!! AND holy cow did DEBBIe blew us out of the world!!! we pick up where we left off from book 1. if you havent read book 1 i suggest read it first!!! you will laugh and fall in love with tanner and dylan!! they are soulmates for life. there may be a few songs. wedding and babies because thats what we love about a fairy tale of tanner and dyan too soulmates that are meant to be! so read this book because you wont be disapointed!!!
